Please click on the link to download a summary of the Primary Computing Curriculum Team courses 2016 – 2017.

The Primary Computing Curriculum Team has planned the courses listed below to reflect the changes to the National Curriculum which will be implemented from September 2014. The aim is to equip school staff with the skills, knowledge and understanding required to implement the changes required to teach the new Computing Programme of Study.
All of these Francis House based courses can also be offered as school-based staff inset. In addition, we will also run many other sessions in schools. These include

  • eSafety for staff, governors, parents and pupils;
  • MLE development and/or use for staff, governors, parents & pupils;
  • ActivInspire with a Literacy, Numeracy and/or general focus;
  • software or technology specific sessions e.g. Clicker 6; moviemaker; datalogging.
