The Administration Advisory Team consists of 4 advisors who support and assist schools admin staff, Senior Leadership Teams and Governors in developing and maintaining an accurate Information Management System as a tool for raising attainment.
This service and support is delivered through a combination of guidance notes, training materials, web based resources, telephone, remote dial-up support and on-site support.
Admin Advisors deliver centre-based training courses and when required in-school training courses. We provide to schools manuals, guidance notes. Under BSF, ITASS work with RM to provide Sims support to the 4 Newham BSF Schools, as well as SIMS Support to 4 schools in other neighbouring local authorities. All ITASS staff undergo regular training; and new staff are appropriately qualified and undergo a rigorous and thorough programme of induction.
Once a term ITASS holds an Information Management User Group meeting.
This provides a forum for discussing details of software upgrades and releases, hardware and networking developments, statutory requirements and sharing best practice. Book onto a place here (insert link to Course booking System) ITASS’s Admin Advisors are available for consultancy with head teachers, Senior Leadership Teams, Governors and ICT managers for guidance on effective use of IMS software and good practice.
